Hubei University of Arts and Science (HBUAS) is a comprehensive public university in Hubei Province, located in Xiangyang
City- a famous national-level historical and cultural city. Currently we have over 19,000 full-time students. 1168 full-time teachers are now working in 59 undergraduate programs and 13 professional postgraduate programs, among whom 638 are professors and associate professors, 1023 teachers have obtained doctor's degree and master's degree, accounting for about 55% and 88% of all faculty respectively. We also have 550 PhD and postgraduate supervisors, accounting for about 47% of all faculty. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language etc. have strong discipline advantages; the Clinical Medicine discipline has entered the top 1% of ESI ranking in the world. In 2016, we welcomed our very first group of international students and our teaching quality has achieved high satisfaction from the international students.
