Pay Tuition Before Getting Admission Letter: Required
You will need to pay 66,000 RMB as the tuition fee to the university before you can get the admission letter.
The following are requirements for admission to the MCS program:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Individual special cases will be reviewed separately.
- Candidates whose native language is not English, must provide proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL (90 or higher), IELTS (6.5 or higher).
- No Chinese language proficiency is required for the program.
- Students holding a bachelor's or master's degree from an English-instructed institution are waived from taking the IELTS or TOEFL.

Applicant who has given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens shall provide the documents certifying the cancellation of Chinese nationality, according to the policy of Ministry of Education of the PRC.

Two letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, in Chinese or English. (Professors’ signature, contact phone number and email address must be put on the letter.)
13. Personal statement
Personal statement, in Chinese or English, should include study and work experience, reasons for application and study proposal. No less than 1500 words.

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".
Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.
Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.
Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
