University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is the first university established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is noted for its advanced science and high technology programs, unique management studies and well-tailored disciplines in the humanities and medical sciences.
It ranks top 100 globally in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings.
USTC offers 35 undergraduate programs, 107 master's programs and 93 doctoral programs in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering Science, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Earth and Space Sciences, Environmental Science, Biology, and Management Science etc in 23 schools and institutes. Among them, some master's programs and all doctoral programs can be instructed in English.
USTC provides various financial aid and competitive scholarship to international students. Excellent applicants may apply for USTC Fellowship, which include tuition waiver, application fee waiver, accommodation subsidy and comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend.

On my first days in USTC and even China, I never imagined that USTC can change my life so deeply. I learned to live life in a different country with people of other cultures, how to cope in a community of international students and people, I learned how to solve my problems independently and on my own. Here I found life time friends who are family now who gave me the best memories of my life. USTC's International College is our second family. Although we got different languages and different cultures, I would like to thank the staff at the International College for making us like a huge big family.

For years, I admired a degree in MBA from a world-class university, and it finally came true. I will never forget how innovative, cherished, exciting, and encouraging the class of 2019 International MBA was. While I was about to leave the beautiful campus, I realized I had gained many valuable things, which included knowledge, skills, professionalism, hospitality, and friendships from the USTC teachers and fellows. Those values put a huge responsibilty on me to serve society and overcome challenges.
