Buying Insurance
In order to protect the safety of international students during your stay here, all international students should have medical insurance. The cost is RMB 600 for one year.
Taking Physical Examination
All foreigners who come to China to study for longer than 6 months (i.e. those on an X visa) are required to undergo a medical examination either before or after they enter China. You will have to submit the relevant documents confirming that you have passed the physical examination when you apply for a residence permit in China. >>Click here to see more details.

CUCAS Pick-Up Service
If you need airport pick-up service (Beijing Capital International Airport), please contact vipservice@cucas.cn. Some universities offer an airport pick-up service. CUCAS can arrange this for you. If the university doesn’t offer an airport pick-up service, CUCAS will arrange the airport pick-up for international students and help them register in the university successfully. (This requires an additional fee, and is limited to Beijing).
