Excellence Scholarship covers 4 years tuition fee.
Merit Scholarship covers 1 year tuition fee.
Friendly Scholarship covers 1 semester tuition fee.
Encouragement Scholarship covers 3500RMB.

Note:

1 Applicant need to pay deposit after he/she passed the first evaluation.
2 After got accepted, applicant need to pay the whole school fee first when register at the university.
3 The scholarship result will be released during August and early September. Students will get the scholarship money within 1 to 2 months after he/she paid fee to school firstly.
4 This scholarship is awarded for only one year. Applicant can re-apply every year when they study in Zhejiang University of Technology.
5 If students drop out of university, they need to refund the scholarship.

Special Requirements

Pay Deposit Before Getting Admission Letter: Required, and You Will Need to Pay 1,000 RMB

You will need to pay 1,000 RMB as a deposit to the university before you can get admission letter, and usually it will be used as part of the tuition fee.

Eligibility

1.18-25 years old and hold a minimum of high school diploma, in good health.
2.Requirements of programs taught in Chinese: HSK4 achieve 180 or above; for those fail to meet the entry requirements (HSK4), after passing the written examination and interview from ZJUT, they will receive one year’s conditional admission, students should pass HSK4 during the one year or they will be regarded as quit. Some majors related to Chinese language and culture require HSK5 or above. Applicants whose compulsory courses were taught in Chinese during secondary education (junior and senior high school) can be exempt from submitting HSK certificate.
3.Requirements of programs taught in English: 1) Native English Speaker or English as official language, 2) IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 60, 3) Instructed in English at high school 4) Other English Language Competence are accepted by our university.
4.Applicants should have a good academic record which is among top of the class. GPA 3.0 or above , the average grade is about 70
NOT be awarded with other Chinese Government Scholarships of all levels.

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".

Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.

Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.

Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
