1. Non-Chinese citizens from the “Belt & Road” countries
2. Physically and mentally healthy, outstanding academic performance, no records of criminal offences
3. Master Programs (Under the age of 35)
4. Undergraduate diploma with good academic performance
5. HSK 5 with 180 scores for Chinese programs
6. Favorable consideration for first time scholarship applicants
7. Not eligible for applicants who have already awarded the Chinese government scholarships or other scholarships

1. Signed XISU International Student Application Form
2. Xi ’an Municipal the “Belt & Road Scholarship” Application Form
3. Signed copy of passport photo page
4. Notarized highest diploma and academic transcripts
Official certificates of student status or expected graduation date if not graduated
5. An 800-word Chines or English study or research plan
6. Copies of valid HSK or IELTS/TOEFL Reports
7. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form in English
(valid for 6 months from the date of issue)
8. Scanned copies of certificates and awards concerned
9. Notarized Non-criminal Record
(For mother language and notarized Chinese translations)
10. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".
Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.
Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.
Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
