1. Two passport-sized photos.
With the name of the applicant and the college/department applied for written on the back.
2. BNU Application Form for International Student.
3. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (In duplicate.)
4. 2 Recommendation letters from two associate professors or scholars with higher academic titles.
There is no specified format for the recommendation letters and all letters must be signed by the referee.
5. Completed Personal Statement Form
6. Applicants for Masters Degree programs should submit an original or notarized copy of their undergraduate academic transcripts and Bachelors degree certificate and graduation certificate (in Chinese or English).
*Applicants who are still not graduated yet must submit Expectation Certificate of Graduation. After admitted by the University, the documents must be submitted when register in BNU. Otherwise the admission will be canceled.
7. Applicants who are non-native English speaker should provide a certificate of their English proficiency.
8. HSK certificate and results transcript or other documents which prove the applicant’s Chinese language proficiency.
9. If you have, please submit any published academic papers, patents, or other academic achievements (originals or copies).
10. The photocopy of “Foreigner Physical Examination Form”.
Keep the original copies by yourself.
11. One Photocopy of applicant’s passport (this must be a valid, ordinary passport);
12. For Pakistan Applicants: to get admission in masters the candidate must have the 16* years of education which may include:
Bachelors (2 Years)+ Masters (2 years)
Bachelors (4 year program)
*B.Ed, M.Ed and any other kind of diploma are not included in 16 years.
