Beijing Institute of Economics and Management (BIEM) is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, registered in the Ministry of Education of China and supervised by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Founded in 1979, the Institute has 10 teaching departments, including the Management School, School of Accounting and Finance, School of Information Technology, School of Engineering Technology, School of Foreign Studies, School of Jewelry and Art Design, School of International Education, etc. The Institute has two campuses. One is in Wangjing, northbiemern part of Beijing. The other one is in Gu’an, Hebei province. The Institute covers an area of nearly 860,000 square meters, and is the higher vocational college with the largest campus space in Beijing. The two campuses have beautiful environments and the Institute is known as a garden-style college. The Institute is a typical international education provider, and has established friendly and cooperative relationships with more than 30 overseas excellent universities and educational institutions in more than 10 countries and regions, such as the UK, Australia, Thailand, among others. In 2018, the Institute was awarded the “Top 50 Higher Vocational Colleges in China with International Influence”.
